Is Offline Radio free?
Yes. The app is free and supported by ads. If you prefer, you can watch one short video to get a full hour without ads.
Does it really work without internet?
Live radio needs internet, because it's broadcast live. But anything you record is saved on your phone and plays with no internet at all. Your favourites and station lists are also cached for weak networks.
How much data does live radio use?
About 30 MB per hour at 64 kbps and about 60 MB per hour at 128 kbps. Turn on Data Saver in Settings to prefer lighter streams.
My favourite station isn't listed. What can I do?
Use "Add your station": paste the station's stream link, test it and save it. You can also submit it to the public directory so others can find it.
Will it keep playing with the screen off?
Yes. The radio plays in the background with lock-screen and earphone controls. On some phones, set the app's battery usage to "Unrestricted" so the system doesn't stop it – the app shows you where.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up and no login. Your favourites, history and recordings stay on your phone.
