Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Digital India Support ("we", "us" or "our") handles information when you use the Offline Radio: FM & Recorder mobile application (the "App") and the website offlineradio.digitalindia.support (together, the "Services").
In short: the App has no accounts and no sign-up. Your favourites, history, recordings and settings are stored only on your phone. The App shows ads from Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not ask for or collect your name, phone number, email address, contacts, precise (GPS) location, photos, SMS, call logs or any government ID. The App has no login and we run no user database.
2. Information stored only on your device
The following stays on your phone. We cannot see it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data:
- Favourite and custom stations, listening history and song titles you've seen or liked
- Recordings you make (audio files in the App's private storage)
- Listening statistics, streaks, badges and quiz scores
- Settings such as language, home country/state, data saver and reminders
- Cached station lists, so the App works on weak networks
3. Third-party services

Google's practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Station logos are loaded from each station's own website.
4. Stations you submit
If you add your own station and switch on "Also submit to the public directory", the station's name, stream link, country and language are sent to radio-browser.info and become publicly visible there. Nothing about you is included. If you leave the switch off, the station stays only on your phone.
5. Permissions
- Internet and network state – to stream radio and detect when you are offline.
- Notifications – for the playback controls and the optional evening streak reminder.
- Foreground service and wake lock – to keep the radio playing with the screen off.
- Run at startup – only to reschedule the streak reminder after your phone restarts.
- Advertising ID – used by Google AdMob as described above.
6. Your choices
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Change your ad consent where the consent form is shown.
- Turn off the streak reminder in the App under My Radio → Settings.
- Delete everything stored by the App by clearing its data or uninstalling it. See Delete your data.
7. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security and retention
Because we do not run a user database, we do not hold your listening data. Third parties keep data under their own policies. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to answer you.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
